Chiguru Farm is now one of the Krishi Ashramas focused on guiding farmers and farm-enthusiasts.

SPECIAL NOTE: Deepavali is approaching. If you fancy spending time in peace with farm-fresh festive food, you can book and visit Chiguru Farm. Not far from Bangalore but well secluded with reserved forests all around. Get soaked in nature with activities like fruit picking, feeding farm animals, climbing trees, walking through the tiny village on the edge of the forest, hike through the rolling landscape, play traditional games or just find a cosy corner to sit with a book. Also participate in traditional Deepavali celebrations with lamps, Gou puja, etc. We are open all the days of the festival- both for overnight stays and day trips.

Chiguru Farm is now open to daytrips and overnight stays for groups, families, friends and corporates. Read more about us here.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1) Entry with prior booking only. Walk-in guests will not be entertained

2) We don’t have any “few-hours-only” OR “just-picnic” options to visit us. Minimum half-day visits.

3) WE ARE NOT A RESORT and WE DON’T WANT TO BE A RESORT. (What does it mean?) We only take small groups who are interested in farming and nature as our focus is on educating people on organic farming and sustainable living.

4) Chiguru Farm is NOT an “ADDA” for activities like drinking, gambling, enjoying with loud music, etc. It is a “temple of trees” and we expect our guests to respect its sanctity.

5) We DON’T have any swimming pool or any other “RESORT-LIKE” facilities (like zipline, etc). If you are looking for such options, please don’t contact us

6) Chiguru Farm serves only vegetarian food and alcohol is not allowed.

  • Pick seasonal fruits like Mangoes, Sapota/Chikku, Guava, Cherries, water apple, lemon, etc. directly from the trees (as per the season). Although “Fruit Picking” is ONE of the activities, visits to our farm don’t start and end with “Fruit Picking” ONLY. If you are looking for “Fruit Picking” only, this is NOT the place.
  • Talk to the trees, birds and animals.
  • Feed the animals like cows & calves, sheep & lambs, chicken & chicks.
  • Also an opportunity to indulge in farm-fresh rural Karnataka food cooked mostly with the ingredients grown in the farm.
  • Play some rural games in the farm.
  • Spend the day in a live organic farm soaking in clean, fresh air, preferably away from the digital world.

Get in touch with us for more details ONLY AFTER GOING THROUGH THE CONTENTS OF THIS WEBSITE.
